Golf Cart Injuries

In the absence of bad weather, many people do not consider golf to be an especially dangerous activity. Because they can sometimes reach speeds of up to 20 or 30 mph, turning sharply, especially on an inclined slope, can be seriously dangerous. Golf carts do not have seat belts, so any mishandling of the cart or accident will be hazardous for the driver and passenger.

Golf cart passengers must keep their entire body inside the cart at all times, as making contact with outside objects, like trees, signs, etc. while traveling at relatively high speeds can cause serious injury. Some of the consequences of golf cart accidents, especially when they involve rolling over, can be very serious, even fatal.
