According to police officials, the accident occurred as a 73-year-old woman was traveling in the town of Martinsburg when her car struck a guardrail as she headed northbound down the road.

According to Florida  police officials, the accident occurred just after 10 a.m. as a vehicle was traveling westbound down the roadway in front of the tractor trailer.

The truck attempted to get over as the car in front of it slowed down and this caused the two vehicles to collide. The driver of the ATV, 14, was in critical condition after the accident and was transported to Tampa Regional Center in order to be treated.

The Senate Bill, SB 1316,  stem from an agreement made between the Florida Medical Association and Florida Optometric Association because these groups have fought against whether optometrists should be able to prescribe oral medications or not.
