Judge Orders Pre-Sentence Investigation for Nick Hogan

A judge has ordered a pre-sentence investigation into Nick “Hogan” Bollea’s life. This is a proceeding that generally takes place when there are a lot of punishments possible for a case or there is potential for a plea bargain for the case.

The investigation also looks into family life as a possible source of the crimes. To sum it up, Bollea has the possibility of being in a lot of trouble but not too much because he’s not an adult. Because he’s not an adult, Bollea is not nearly as liable for his accident as he would be if he had been an adult at the time of the accident.

The accident occurred last fall when Bollea was apparently racing his 1998 Toyota Supra when he lost control and caused serious injuries to his friend that was in the car at the time.
